Early 2010 we started to create an Osho meditation centre and Permaculture project in Saboia (conselho Odemira). Our property consists of two parts, a house on 1.2 ha land adjacent to the Telhares river, near the train station of Santa Clara/ Saboia, and a plot of 31 ha in nature about 10 km west of the town of Saboia, both owned by a charitable foundation and in use by our cooperative farm. The community consists of volunteers from many countries and we use the english language as our medium.
Our aim is to live in balance with our inner nature as well as with nature around us. Osho active meditations are our way to stay aware and maintain our inner balance. On the outside we have now started landscaping and organic gardening in our garden and are improving our house near the town of Saboia. We also intend to develop a meditation centre and other accommodation on the large land, as well as creating water landscapes, solar energy systems and various Permaculture projects.
