I see WWOOFing as an ideal way for me to learn about how an organic farm works whilst learning the language and culture of another country. My long term goal is to have an organic farm of my own but at the moment my knowledge is very limited but I am hard working and willing to learn with a real desire to achieve my dream.
I have now spent the first three months of 2010 in portugal and I am loving every minute of the experience. I still have along way to go to get a firm idea of exactly what type of farm I want. I am looking for places that do alternative construction and meat butchery as I can see a practical use for learning these skills. |
