At this moment: General maintenance, organic veggie garden, feeding animals, gardening, etc.

We are moving on with the renovation of the additional building, a characteristic (bed and workshop) space that is made with stones & clay from our land and recycled doors, windows. etc.

We live with our three suns (10-12-17) and pats, at Quinta da Alfarrobeira, a 300-years old 6 hectare estate in the countryside, gradually developed through the years. The Quinta is established on an exceptional location situated on a hill, overlooking the valley, close (2km) to the south coast Atlantic Ocean. The place is run artistic and professional in an organic, occasionally chaotic 'take us as you find us' kind of way. We are involved in a variety of activities with small-scale rural and responsible (eco) tourism. We continually maintain, restore and enrich the estate and its surroundings in an authentic way. In addition, we focus on small-scale organic farming and the development and promotion of sustainable living. Gradually we integrate a variety of activities/workshops on the themes of arts & crafts, music, culture, sustainable living and personal growth.
We prefer a stay of 3 weeks minimum, longer term stay and involvement is an option. This is if things work out from both sides of course.
On a lovely part of the property we are developing a small eco-camp site. At the moment a tipi, tent, caravan and/or campervan are available.
