Hi wwoofers ! We are a Belgian couple, Johan and Nastja and have two kids, Myrko (almost six) and Tika (almost three).Johan is a very experienced gardener and musician, Nastja is a wonderfull cook and jewelry maker and the kids love to make new friends !

We came here in 1997. Since then, our garden grows every year with a lot of work to be done.We now are looking for people that can help us to maintain the garden and for future projects.

This year we want to work on placing a fence around the land and renovating the old stable as a guesthouse. We will need to renovate the chickenhouse, make new woodstalls and to build a watertank.

Day by day jobs in the garden include seed sowing; weeding; digging; growing and care of food-producing and other plants.

Here we have a very moderate climate all year around, temperatures between 15 and 25°C. We prefer wwoofers to stay with us for two weeks. Changes are possible. We provide a guestroom with double bed and private bathroom, so two people at the same time is best. We are all-eaters but vegeterian meals are no problem. If you like to cook, Nastja always likes to learn about new cooking experiences.

We would like you to work with us during the week, although the hours and days are flexible, as things we do always depend on the weather and on how work advances. Too hot, we need to go for a swim, too much rain, you can go exploring. Swimming, hiking, surfing, paragliding, boattrips and much more to do during days off. We live about 30 minutes walk from the main village, by bus you can reach other parts of the island.

With us you can learn a lot about growing plants, transforming them into compost, food, wine, and other things that make life more comfortable and about enjoying the gifts of nature!
