Welcome to Erika Scholz

This is a little organic self-sufficient farm with big veggie and fruit garden, field, donkeys, goats, pigs, chicken, doves, ducks, dogs and cats; solar-energy and autonomy.
We constantly welcome helpers for all kinds of agriculture work.

Above this you will know portuguese cooking and can learn many aspects of organic farming and using or conserving all fruit and vegetables of garden and field.
We have a balance diet including meat and fish, if vegeterians want they can do their own meals.

Work is mostly 4 hours a day, 6 days a week, and accomodation will be in a cozy caravan. In the winter people have to be strong to deal with simple circumstances. Electricity is based on solar, then when there is less sun there will not always be enough water for daily showers or maybe missing of light. bring torch!

the farm sits between two beautiful villages in 3 to 4km distance; the next town is lagos and there is a bus going to the villages.

Lagos offers always cultural-events: expositions, music, theatre.. and has as well nice beaches. the atlantic-coast is about 15km away. There is also a small lake for swimming nearby.

You'll enjoy everything in the farm!

NOTE!

Hello dear wwoofers, we are very sorry. At the moment we are busy with finishing building our house, so we cannot host any of you at the moment.
As soon as we are available again we will let you know =)

Best Regards and keep Wwoofing!!
