We are a vegetarian family, Fernando (Portuguese, 30), Eva (Czech, 33) and our daughter Maia (born 19 december 2007), we moved in 2 years ago and we have our handsfull of work with the land!! Veggie garden growing every season, fruit trees to be taken care of and lots to plant this next autumn (gonna re start the native trees nursery), some litle constructions to be done, riverbed to clear...also Maia is a very active child and she loves to make friends and play so if you like kids you can look after her.
We love cooking (vegan/vegetarian) but its always great to taste new flavours from around the world, so you are welcome to prepare meals whenever you feel like:)
so theres a lot of different tasks to do and you probably wont get bored, though sometimes we need you more in some spefic tasks..otherwise you can pick the daily tasks..
If you have any special skills, let us know, we are interested, maybe it can be usefull!
We have bicicles to lend that can take you to the beach (9km) or to the village, Aljezur (6km) where you can get most of the things you will need!
We have internet, that can be used for half an hour a day.
Your accomodation will be in a very simple room,that dosent have isolation, so during the winter months December till March its a good idea to bring a very warm sleeping bag! We have extra blankets!
apart from that, we are a nice, easy going family that will be happy to host any willing worker:)
