Welcome to Tipi Algarve

Tipi Algarve is a tourist destination, a glampsite (glamorous camping) of accomadation of Tipis, Yurts and Safari tents, chill out lounge/cafe, Yoga temple, Zen pond for our paying guests to enjoy. We grow our own veg, but we are not a farm.
8 AM to 1 pm & 6 pm to 7 pm (6 hours a day). 1 hour for lunch. You work 5 days, get two days off, but this may not be the weekend. You must be flexible, able to work with our paying guests & their children so customer friendly is a must. Primarily we need help on cooking, cleaning chillout lounge and main kitchen, toilets, showers, making up Tipis, organic gardening, maintenance work such as putting up Tipis, painting and building. Also, a bonus if you have skills on the admin side, dealing with enquiries, website maintenance, advertising/marketing,. We have a yoga temple to practice yoga, and if you have experience in juice detox, a bonus. WE ARE LOOKING FOR TRAINED YOGA TEACHERS AND MASSAGE THERAPISTS TO HOLD YOGA CLASSES TO GUESTS AS REQUESTED AS PART OF THEIR WORKING DAY ( 1 HOUR , 8 AM - 9 AM ) AND MASSAGE THERAPIES ALONG WITH OTHER DUTIES IN EXCHANGE FOR FOOD AND STAY IN FEMALE DORM FROM MAY 1 - SEPT 15 SMALL PERCENTAGE SPLIT TO EARN ENTRA POCKET MONEY

We have just built a swimming pool and large pond.

There is a dorm cottage to stay in, communal shower & toilets. Once you contact us we will send you more info and a booking form to complete

We provide you with the basics to prepare your own breakfast and evening meal . You will help make a communal vegeterian lunch for all the volunteers and sometimes for the guests. Help assist in pizza night once a week season for the guests in the summer.

There is a pool table, table football, plenty of card and board games, books to read and swap, chill out lounge plays music, walks near by , and two very friendly dogs and cats, pool. . . .

There is a local bus service at the end of the track to Portimao and to Monchique. A taxi will cost between €12-18.

We ask that you have your own health insurance; we have a copy of your passport and give us a contact number of your next of kin in case of any emergencies. We only usually like to accept helpers who are willing to stay a minimum of three weeks but prefer longer such as a month. We do not accept Woofers for one week. This is non negoitable, it takes 2 days to train.

*We are looking for a couple to be our Assistant Managers during our busy summer season, to manage our volunteers, and be hands on cleaning, making up Tipis, bedmaking, housekeeping etc with a combination of administration, Office management skills to deal with enquiries through to bookings, reception etc and maintenance work, enjoy and be good at cooking to help make pizzas and salads, on our pizza night and make home made cakes to sell to our guests. You will receive a small salary, free board and food in a studio cottage with kitchenette, private bathroom, tv and dvd,s , dvd player. 2 bikes to use. *
