Our glampsite is a tourist destination with paying guests mainly from Europe (75% from the UK), a glampsite (glamorous camping) of accomadation of Tipis, Yurts and Safari tents, chill out lounge/cafe, Yoga temple, Zen pond, a plunge pool for our paying guests to enjoy. We grow our own veg, but we are not a farm. We open April 18 - Sept 30.

VOLUNTEERS PRIOR TO OPENING FEBRUARY TO APRIL

We need help to get the glampsite ready to open from April. We start taking volunteers in the middle of February before we open to assist us in projects such as building camp kitchens, toilets and showers, restoring broken fences, painting and maintenance of the site. If you have an interest or skill in building projects and organic gardening, are physically fit, dont mind getting your hands dirty and doing manual work then we would love your help from February until April. So the focus in building, maintenance, gardening, permaculture and anyone with artistic painting abilities, restoration or textiles skills, building, Ecological experience or qualifications are very welcomed! If you have a back ground in administration, sales, marketing, graphic design, website maintenance, and would like to help in the office dealing with customer enquiries who want book our accommodation then we would like your help also.

We provide you the basics to prepare breakfast and evening meal. We ask you to help prepare (as a team) the communal vegeterian lunch for the volunteers. If you require meat or treats then you need to buy them on your two days off. You will stay in the dorm cottage. Communal hot and cold showers and toilets. We provide your bedding, but you need to bring a towel. Work is 9 am - 1pm and an hour after lunch 2 pm - 3 pm 5 hours per day. 2 days off

We provide you with the basics to prepare your own breakfast and evening meal . You will help make a communal vegeterian lunch for all the volunteers and sometimes for the guests. Help assist in BBQ night once a week season for the guests in the summer.

There is a pool table, table football, plenty of card and board games, books to read and swap, chill out lounge that plays music, walks near by , and a very friendly dog and cats, swimming pool, hammocks, free wifi so bring your lap top. . . .

There is a local bus service at the end of the track to Portimao and to Monchique. A taxi will cost between €12-18.

We ask that you have your own health insurance; we have a copy of your passport and give us a contact number of your next of kin in case of any emergencies. We only usually like to accept helpers who are willing to stay a minimum of three weeks but prefer longer such as a month. We do not accept Woofers for one week. This is non negoitable, it takes 2 days to train.

So if you are interested in spending some time with us, don't mind working hard when needed and want to have fun in the sun, in a cool, chilled out enviroment, can smile often and laugh lots then contact us.
. We have a strict no drugs policy and people who have problems with alcohol please do not come to us. Smoking is strictly outside only. We encourage a healthy, laid back vibe.. we are not a party animal kind of place.
