| Presentation: | I am with my long term partner of 25 years. I have been employed long term with major brands and have decided to take a two year career break(maybe more). I want to utilise my skills and passions for what I really want-back to my roots of artistic expression and a love of gardening and the soil. My partner wants to cook and learn new skills, however, he was trained as an engineer, but has a passion for cooking and has worked successfully in a commercial restaurant. We are both willing and receptive to learning new skills. We are both english. Just had a fantastic experience at Quinta Bazheda at Penamacor. Fernando the host, shared his vision and experience of the land to help us to integrate into the way of life. The food was healthy and well cooked and natural swimming pool, created by the dam was a huge plus. We encountered other Woofers, Giavanni(remarkable), Isa and Alex(a credit to Portugal), Sylvia(talks for Catalonia, but brilliant) and Michael(what a cool dude), Ian(Australian, nuff said, lol) and Frederico, a well versed and superb helper. |
