We are working on a ecologic farm. Having started in march 2011, the installation is still in progress.
We are looking for nice people who would like to gain some experiences or leave theirs with us. Any kind of help making a lovely piece of land liveable is appreciated.
our place is located near the "National Park Sierra de Estrella". the next village is about 2 km away, the next city (fundao) about 7 km. Directly in the nature.
the main tasks around the day are the animals and the garden.
as our herd is still small and the plants are growing by themselves, we have also room and time for ideas of any kind.
at the moment we do a lot of clay buildings.
As we have 2 young horses, people with experience in this field are especially welcome
we don´t have real electricity (working on it) or hot water. we have a well working compost toilette and an outside shower.
Hobbits preferred ;)
All travellers are welcome, if they want to help or just relax.
WWOOFers or visitors can stay in our caravan or own tents (own sleeping bags and torches would be useful). space for busses available.
