Portugal in the winter

Hello together,
anyone planning to go to Portugal in the winter? Or has somebody any experience for the "cold" season, where to go, what work to do?

Charlotte from Germany

hi Charlotte,
ever thought of the Azores? We have moderate winters, no ice or snow, average temperature by noon around 15-18° C, of course more rain and wind as during summer but still a lot of sunny days. For this winter we are set but for next winter we might have space and work available.
best regards,

we had almost 24 wwofers last january to prune trees and we didn'tget any rainy day... good for woofers, bad for our cultures...

Hey Charlotte, i'm going to be in the algarve around lagos somewhere, havnt found a host yet but theres places open and it'll be fine im sure. appparently the waether still pretty good, sunny enough to go the beach some days and theres half the hippies in england heading to portugal this winter. loking forward to seeing you out there prehaps :)
