We are Isabel Pedras (Portugal) UTAD - Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro - 2000, Agriculture Engineer, Ziad Barazi (British-Syrian) PhD London Univerity 1983 - Plant physiology, and Maria João Sacadura (Portugal), Degree at FCUL Faculty of Sciences of Lisbon University 1996, Geology, Masters at University of Évora 2006 - Environmental Management and Policies, PhD Algarve University - Organic geochemistry, not yet finished. We are transforming an abandoned farm of 7 ha in the entrance o the city, (it was a center of agricultural experiences from the agriculture ministry) in an organic farm, producing fruits, vegetables, and transformed food e. g., jams, jellies, filled chocolates and preserved fruits and vegetables in general, to sell at the FarmShop within the farm. It has large trees of avocados, custard apples, loquats, oranges, tangerines, persimmons, figs, almonds and carubs, plus a stream with water all the year!
We have a three dogs family and one cat, and are planning to have hens for the eggs.
We need help to produce healthy things and transform the abandoned farm in a Eden!
