Due to the lack of activity in this Forum we decide to suspend it. If you want to participate, please join our Facebook group for active members. Thanks for everybody that collaborate during the last years. If you have any question or concerns, please contact us.

I have been a host for about 18 years with many people passing through our ' doors'.
It often happens that I get let down etc , who doesn't ?,and suddenly if it is harvest time , then I need some help .
It would be good now that there is a Portugal site that we can call for help , or if you have a Woofer that wants to move on but wants to stey here ( Portugal)that we can have a system that may help us all.
Anybody have any thoughts ?

Kind regards Shyam ( Vishuddha )

Hello Shyam,

This is the idea of Wwoof Portugal, make us close together!
In case you need a few wwoofers for big tasks as harvesting, building, etc.. post your request here and don't forget to update your host description too.

In case any host have a BIG problem as fire, flooding, several storm, etc. and need lots of hands for working, let me know and I can send an emergency email to all the wwoofers from Wwoof Portugal.

Hi Shyam and Rodrigo..

Nice start on the new forum!! Let's hope it continues like this and that both wwoofers and hosts will take advantage of this forum. I hope the forum will become a meeting spot where people can start their journey and that people offer a seat in their vehicle before they take off" from their nest. There is always someone heading your way, you just don't know it yet..

This is also a good place to say something provocative to get an interesting discussion, but lets be good to each other and use a humble attitude. I will do my best to answer unanswered questions but this forum would loose it's purpose if only me and Rodrigo would give our points of view, so do not hesitate to give your thoughts in any topics..

I would be happy if our role as coordinators would "loose some weight" and I really hope and think this is a good start.. Its funnier to build cobbhouses and grow vegetables than answering the same questions over and over again!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and lets help each other with the harvest and have a great dinner together :P
