Located right on the sea cliff on the south coast of Terceira Island, 5 km from the beautiful city of Angra of Heroísmo (classified by UNESCO a world heritage), the farm is organic certificated.
Accommodations in a log cabin in a wooded wilderness area of the farm. Water piped, bedrooms for 1 to 3 hosts, shower, kitchen and toilet. Access to the farm with private path that crosses the farm with a BUS stop at the two entrances, 10 minutes walking distance.
You are welcome if you can cook (the farmer doesn´t know how to cook)... and if you can help:
OFF GRID – Experienced to install electric generator, build electric power station solar and wind. Charge batteries with animal power. Build rocket fire wood oven and to preheat water.
METAL – Experienced. I have a small metal workshop where I have already built custom-made agricultural implements. We still need to build a lay down weeder, mobile cages for small animals, pigs and birds, and multi carrier implements for animal traction to mechanical weed control.
FARM - to sow, to take care of nurseries, to plant. Install permaculture for domestic consumption. Take care of 60 vegetable heirloom species for seed collection, milking cows and feeding calves. Manual harvesting. move animals. With or without experience.
DOMESTIC – cooking farm products. Vegetarians and vegans are welcome to cook and assist in the work of gardening diversification.
WOOD - Finishing of the hut, building of greenhouse. With or without experience.
ANIMAL TRACTION - We have experience in training bovine animals to work on the farm, so we can teach you!
